Synopsis
Shark Night 3D (2011) is a horror thriller from David R. Ellis that you can watch online on iFILM. Seven college friends head to a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf for a sunny weekend, and the carefree time on the water curdles into a hunt where they're the prey.
The group swims, takes the boat out and only slowly realizes something is moving in the murky depths below them. The first shark strike makes the stakes clear: not everyone is climbing out of this water alive. Sara Paxton and Dustin Milligan lead the survivors trying to work out why predators are loose in a freshwater lake, and the answer turns out to be far nastier than bad luck. Donal Logue supplies a welcome dose of grim humor.
Ellis, the director behind Final Destination 2 and Snakes on a Plane, shot this specifically for the third dimension, so jaws and debris come flying straight at you.
