The Final Destination

The Final Destination (2009) is David R. Ellis's horror film you can watch online on iFILM. In the stands at a speedway, college student Nick O'Bannon is hit by a sudden vision: the bleachers collapse, race cars tear into the crowd. He drags his friends clear seconds before the disaster he saw comes true.

The trouble is that death does not like being cheated. One by one, the survivors of the crash start dying, and each accident looks like rotten luck. Nick (Bobby Campo) tries to work out the order in which the reckoning is coming before it reaches him, Lori, Janet, and Hunt. The fourth chapter of the cult franchise was shot in 3D and leans hard into its inventive, gory set pieces. It runs a lean 82 minutes of pure dread.
