Synopsis

47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019) — watch online this shark horror from director Johannes Roberts on iFILM. The follow-up to his 2017 original trades the open ocean for something tighter: four teenage girls dive into a flooded Mayan ruin beneath a Mexican plateau and quickly run out of ways back.

The sharks down here have never seen sunlight. Generations bred in the dark left them eyeless — but they track every ripple and every exhaled bubble with precision. Air runs low, one tunnel collapses behind the group, and the mapped route disappears into silt. Sophie Nélisse and Sistine Rose Stallone lead the four as the situation narrows; Nia Long and John Corbett appear above ground before everything goes wrong.

Roberts builds the film around claustrophobia rather than open-water dread: low ceilings, zero visibility, and a predator you can't see until it's already on you. The premise is stripped down and the film commits to it fully. Stream 47 Meters Down: Uncaged online on iFILM.
