Billy is the makeup effects artist on set. She's also mute. One evening she stays behind after everyone else has gone, stumbles into a back corridor, and walks in on something that looks like a rough take — until she realises the woman on camera isn't acting. Getting out without being spotted turns out to be impossible.

Now the people who filmed it want the only witness gone. Billy can't scream for help, can't make the Moscow police take her seriously, and can't trust anyone in a city she barely knows.
