Synopsis
The Princess (2022) is a fantasy-tinged action movie you can watch online on iFILM. A young royal refuses to marry the brutal man who wants her father's throne, and wakes up chained at the top of a castle tower.
Joey King plays a princess with zero interest in being rescued. Down below, her spurned suitor Julius — played by Dominic Cooper — has already seized the castle and taken the royal family hostage. To reach them, she has to fight her way down floor by floor, through a small army of mercenaries. Olga Kurylenko as a warrior mentor and Veronica Ngo give the brawls real weight.
The whole thing is directed by Vietnamese filmmaker Le Van Kiet, known for the hard-hitting action of Furie. Ninety-four minutes of nearly nonstop combat: no white gown, no prince on horseback, just one staircase, a blade and sheer stubbornness. Think The Raid in medieval skirts.
