Synopsis

Neo (Keanu Reeves) wakes up trapped between the Matrix and the real world, cut off from both. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Niobe (Jada Pinkett Smith) race a small fleet of ships back to Zion while thousands of Sentinel machines drill toward the last human city from above. Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Neo push their battered hovercraft all the way to the Machine City itself. Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) has long since stopped taking orders and now replicates across every corner of the simulated world, threatening to consume it entirely. Monica Bellucci returns briefly as Persephone, and the Oracle faces her own reckoning.
