The welcome in Far Far Away is frosty at best. King Harold (John Cleese) made a private deal with the Fairy Godmother (Jennifer Saunders) years ago, and Prince Charming (Rupert Everett) has been groomed for Fiona's hand since birth. Neither is ready to let a swamp creature ruin the arrangement. The Fairy Godmother's son is furious. Then Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) shows up — a hired sword who switches sides faster than expected. Donkey (Eddie Murphy) manages to create his own separate crisis entirely.
