Synopsis
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020) is a musical family fairy tale you can watch online on iFILM. Brilliant toy inventor Jeronicus Jangle (Forest Whitaker) loses everything when his apprentice steals his book of designs and disappears into the night.
Decades pass. The once-dazzling workshop has become a dusty pawnshop, and Jeronicus has stopped believing in much of anything. Then his granddaughter Journey arrives — a quick, fearless girl who loves numbers and isn't scared of broken gears. Together they try to bring a magical invention to life, the same one the old traitor Gustafson (Keegan-Michael Key) wants back. Along the way come a self-doubting robot named Buddy 3000 and a dandy villain with show tunes of his own.
Director David E. Talbert built a rare thing: a steampunk Christmas musical led by a predominantly Black cast. Philip Lawrence and John Legend wrote the songs, and the film's costumes earned an Academy Award nomination. It's warm holiday viewing where math is treated as a superpower.
