Robots (2005) is a Blue Sky Studios animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Young Rodney Copperbottom (McGregor) leaves his small town to work for the legendary inventor Bigweld — only to find the company has been hijacked by the slick, spare-parts-obsessed Ratchet (Kinnear). Older robots are breaking down with no replacements available. Rodney teams up with the fast-talking Fender (Williams) to fight back. The film hides a sharp story about corporate greed and community under all the visual noise — and the noise itself is spectacular, packed with mechanical gags that reward a second watch.
