Synopsis
Look Away (2018) is a supernatural horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Assaf Bernstein, it follows Maria, a teenage girl who is invisible to her parents and a punching bag at school.
Maria confides everything to her own reflection, and one day the reflection answers back. The two trade places. The girl who steps into the world is no longer the shy outcast everyone walked over but a cold, calculating twin with a list of scores to settle. India Eisley plays both halves of the same face, the timid Maria and the predator wearing her skin. Jason Isaacs is her father, a plastic surgeon obsessed with fixing flaws, while Mira Sorvino plays a mother numbed by pills.
This Canadian film skips cheap jump scares for a slow slide into cruelty, and the longer it runs, the harder it gets to say which sister now stands on this side of the glass.
