Fear

Fear (1996) is an American psychological thriller directed by James Foley — watch online on iFILM. Mark Wahlberg plays David, all charm and attentiveness, before the mask slips. Reese Witherspoon is Nicole, sixteen, who meets him at a club and mistakes intensity for devotion.

Her father Steve (William Petersen) clocks the wrongness early, but Nicole is already in deep. When she tries to end it, David doesn't argue — he escalates. Surveillance first. Then violence toward anyone who gets between them. Then the house itself becomes the target, doors and windows the only things left standing between the family and what's outside.
