The cast is the whole point. Norm Peterson (George Wendt) occupies the same barstool every night while his wife thinks he's working late. Mailman Cliff Clavin (John Ratzenberger) fills every silence with trivia no one asked for. Waitress Carla Tortelli (Rhea Perlman) has a sharp tongue and zero patience for nonsense. Woody Harrelson plays the cheerfully clueless barback Woody Boyd, and Kelsey Grammer's psychiatrist Frasier Crane started out as a recurring face at the bar before moving to Seattle for his own show.
