XOXO

XOXO (2016) is Christopher Louie's music drama, available to watch online on iFILM. Across one frantic night at a massive rave, six strangers cross paths, and the hours before dawn end up deciding something for each of them.

At the center is a young DJ who landed a viral track out of nowhere and now gets one shot on the festival's main stage. Orbiting him are a girl hoping to finally meet the stranger she's been messaging, a burned-out veteran of the club scene, and a couple whose relationship is cracking right there in the crowd. Louie shoots the whole thing to the rhythm of an electronic set: neon, drop after drop, a night that refuses to end. Sarah Hyland, Graham Phillips, Hayley Kiyoko and Chris D'Elia headline.

This is a mood piece more than a plot, basically a 92-minute music video built for EDM fans and anyone who loves big-festival energy. Viewers after deep drama may find it thin, but the soundtrack and the party carry it. Stream XOXO (2016) online on iFILM.
