Beats (2019) is a music drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Chris Robinson set his story on Chicago's South Side, where two outsiders collide: a teenage hip-hop prodigy whose agoraphobia has kept him housebound, and a disgraced music manager with nothing left to lose.

Anthony Anderson plays the manager — a man who stopped believing in anyone, including himself. Khalil Everage is the kid who can build a track in his bedroom but can't walk out the front door. Uzo Aduba and Paul Walter Hauser round out the cast. What develops between them isn't a standard mentor arc. It's messier, and more honest than that.
