Synopsis
Light of My Life (2019) is a post-apocalyptic drama you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Casey Affleck, who also takes the lead. A decade after a pandemic killed nearly every woman on Earth, a father guides his eleven-year-old daughter through the forests of the Pacific Northwest. She is one of the few females left alive.
To survive, the girl travels disguised as a boy. Her father keeps her hair short, drills her to stay quiet around strangers, and steers clear of towns, because the men still out there would do anything to take an immune child. Newcomer Anna Pniowsky carries most of the runtime opposite Affleck, while Elisabeth Moss appears in flashback as the mother they lost.
