Afflicted

Clif and Derek set off across Europe with cameras rolling for a travel vlog. After a single night with a stranger, Derek falls ill: sunlight burns him, food won't stay down, yet his strength and speed climb by the hour. The pair chase an answer halfway across the globe, recording every step, and slowly realize the sickness is vampirism and that Derek is becoming a threat to everyone near him, Clif included.

The clever twist is offscreen too: writer-directors Clif Prowse and Derek Lee star as the leads and lend the characters their own names. Working on a tiny budget, they pull off superhero-grade stunts, with wall-running and brawls shot in first person so the immersion turns almost physical.
