Synopsis
The Invitation (2022) is a gothic horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jessica M. Thompson. After her mother dies, New York waitress Evie takes a DNA test and finds a cousin she never knew existed.
That cousin invites her to a grand wedding at a sprawling English manor, where the staff flinch at every order and the charming host, Walter, keeps watching her a beat too long. Natalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) plays Evie as warmth slowly curdles into dread, while Thomas Doherty gives the lord of the house a chilly, predatory polish. The family's generosity, it turns out, comes with very old strings attached.
