As Above, So Below

As Above, So Below (2014) is a found-footage horror film you can watch online on iFILM. A young archaeologist hunts the legendary philosopher's stone in the tunnels beneath Paris. The descent turns into a route with no way back up.

Scarlett (Perdita Weeks) drags a six-person crew underground on the strength of an old map and her own obsession, with translator George (Ben Feldman) and a local guide who knows the hidden passages through the bone-lined corridors. At first it is just abandoned shafts and skulls stacked in the walls. Then the passages start repeating, the layout stops making sense, and figures from each explorer's worst memory step out of the dark.

Director John Erik Dowdle shot the whole thing on the crew's handheld cameras inside the real Paris catacombs, trading polish for raw, claustrophobic dread. The tagline says it plainly: the only way out is down. Stream As Above, So Below online on iFILM.
