Synopsis

Nowhere to Run (1993) is an action drama with Jean-Claude Van Damme you can watch online on iFILM. Sam Gillen, an escaped convict, hides out near a farm where a young widow is raising two kids alone. He plans to lay low and move on.

Then he sees what's coming for them. Crooked developers, backed by a bought-off judge, want the widow's land for a new project and will force her off it. Her little boy Mookie, played by Kieran Culkin, is the first to spot the stranger in the woods and latches onto him. Sam has a clear road to freedom, but he turns back to stand between one family and a crew of hired muscle. Rosanna Arquette plays the mother with quiet fatigue, while Ted Levine and Joss Ackland sharpen the menace.

The setup is half early-90s action vehicle, half stripped-down Western: a silent outsider defending a home that was never his. The fights stay grounded for a Van Damme picture, leaning on character over spectacle. Good pick if you want a lean story with a plain moral code and no filler.
