Synopsis
Fight Club (1999) is David Fincher's cult thriller you can watch online on iFILM. A nameless insurance worker (Edward Norton) can't sleep and drowns in furniture catalogs until a stranger he meets on a flight blows his whole life apart.
That stranger is Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a soap salesman who preaches self-destruction and sneers at comfort. The two start a strange ritual: they beat each other senseless in a bar parking lot, and somehow the pain hands them back a reason to feel alive. Word spreads, and an underground club fills up with men sick of cubicles and ad campaigns. Into that chaos walks Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter), a woman on the edge whom the narrator both despises and can't get out of his head.
Fincher built the film from Chuck Palahniuk's novel, and audiences mostly shrugged at it in theaters. On home video and online it grew a fierce cult following and became a manifesto for a disillusioned generation. The ending rewrites everything you thought you saw.
