Synopsis

This time the detectives' own pasts creep into the work. A corpse on a sightseeing bus sends the pair to a grand estate where Hathaway grew up, blurring the line between duty and memory. A champion quiz player is fished out of a fountain over a bank holiday. The closing case hits home: a university friend of pathologist Laura Hobson is killed, and the answer may lie in her own history.
