Synopsis

Want the next batch of Oxford murders? Lewis Season 2 (2008) brings four more cases you can watch online on iFILM, with Inspector Robert Lewis and Sergeant James Hathaway back on the cobbles.

This run digs deeper and cuts closer to home. It opens on a body at the Bodleian Library and a break-in at a professor's house that won't stay separate for long. A murdered professor of German history then leads the pair toward an underground boxing scene. The third case turns personal for Hathaway: an old friend's suicide draws them into a religious group whose members are being picked off one by one. The finale looks like a solved rape case until the suspect is killed and Oxford's elite quietly close ranks.

By now Whately and Fox play off each other effortlessly, and the partnership carries the show as much as the puzzles do. If the first season left you wanting more of Hathaway's backstory, this one delivers. Watch Lewis Season 2 online on iFILM.
