Anora

Anora (2024) is a drama-comedy from writer-director Sean Baker — watch online on iFILM. Mikey Madison plays Ani, a Brooklyn dancer who marries Ivan (Mark Eydelshteyn), the reckless son of a Russian oligarch, on a whim in Las Vegas. For a moment, the fairytale holds.

Then the call from Moscow comes. Ivan's parents send a pair of Armenian fixers — the smooth-talking Toros (Karren Karagulian) and the quieter, more conflicted Igor (Yura Borisov) — to make the marriage disappear. Ani refuses to go quietly. What unfolds is part screwball farce, part raw working-class portrait, shot across Brooklyn strip clubs and Long Island mansions.
