Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Seasons 1–7)
At the edge of the Final Frontier, the Universe's greatest mystery is about to unfold.
Synopsis
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1999) is the science fiction series you can watch online on iFILM. Unlike the rest of the franchise, it doesn't roam the galaxy on a starship. It stays put, on a battered border station orbiting Bajor, a world just freed from brutal Cardassian occupation.
Commander Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) runs the place, a Starfleet officer raising his son alone after losing his wife in combat. Then a stable wormhole opens nearby, a shortcut to the distant Gamma Quadrant, and the forgotten outpost becomes a flashpoint overnight. Around Sisko gather Bajoran major Kira (Nana Visitor), shape-shifting constable Odo (René Auberjonois), scheming Ferengi bartender Quark (Armin Shimerman), and young doctor Bashir (Alexander Siddig). From deep space, the Dominion marches in, and Sisko ends up on the front line of a long, costly war.
Showrunners Rick Berman and Michael Piller pushed the saga away from the cozy optimism of The Next Generation: seven seasons, 176 episodes, serialized arcs built on politics, faith, and moral compromise instead of a tidy adventure each week. Plenty of fans still call DS9 the most grown-up and underrated Trek of them all. Stream every season of Deep Space Nine online on iFILM.
