Andromeda (2000) is a science fiction series you can watch online on iFILM — all five seasons, 110 episodes, completed in 2005. The show draws on concepts developed by Gene Roddenberry and was produced jointly in Canada and the United States.

Captain Dylan Hunt commands the Systems Commonwealth warship Andromeda Ascendant when a Nietzschean ambush catches him at the event horizon of a black hole. He survives. But 303 years pass outside the ship before a salvage crew pulls him free. Kevin Sorbo plays Hunt as a man whose whole civilization has dissolved around him: the Commonwealth he fought for is gone, replaced by a fractured galaxy called the Long Night. His unlikely crew — salvager Beka Valentine, engineer Seamus Harper, Trance Gemini, and the ship's AI avatar Rommie (Lexa Doig) — become his only allies.
