Synopsis
«Petrushka» (2026) is a Russian fantasy comedy directed by Pavel Voronin — watch it online on iFILM. Petya is pushing forty, working as a restaurant chef, and quietly invisible to his own wife and kids. A visit to his parents' dacha turns up a box of forgotten toys, including a battered puppet that shares his nickname.
He puts Petrushka on his hand as a joke. Then it talks. The puppet turns out to be everything Petya is not: blunt, fearless, immune to social pressure. In Russian folk tradition, Petrushka was the anarchic clown of street fairs who said out loud what polite company kept silent — that same energy is now attached to Petya's wrist. Nikita Kologrivy and Stasya Miloslavskaya star, with Lyudmila Artemieva in support. A midlife reckoning, with a puppet doing most of the heavy lifting.
