Pinocchio

Pinocchio (1940) is a Walt Disney animated classic you can watch online on iFILM. Released in February 1940, it was the studio's second feature-length cartoon and the first to win Academy Awards — two Oscars, for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for "When You Wish Upon a Star," a melody that has defined Disney's identity ever since.

Woodcarver Geppetto carves a puppet and wishes on a star that it could be his son. A Blue Fairy grants the wish: Pinocchio comes to life, but earning full humanity means proving he can be brave, truthful, and selfless. The cricket Jiminy serves as his conscience. The road is rough — a traveling puppet show, a luxury island where boys turn into donkeys, and the belly of a monstrous whale all stand between Pinocchio and the life Geppetto dreamed of.
