Synopsis

Prabhas plays both father and son. Most of the story rewinds to the kingdom of Mahishmati, where the noble young Amarendra falls for the fierce warrior princess Devasena. The people adore him, and so does his adoptive mother, Queen Sivagami, which is exactly why his older cousin Bhallaladeva and a scheming uncle start plotting to strip him of the throne and his life. Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Ramya Krishnan drive a tale of betrayal toward the reveal the first film promised.
