Synopsis
Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House (2017) is a political drama you can watch online on iFILM, with Liam Neeson as the FBI second-in-command who spent decades hidden behind a single nickname: "Deep Throat."
The break-in at the Democratic headquarters inside the Watergate complex looks like a small burglary at first. Felt knows it isn't. As his own bureau tries to bury the case from the top, he starts feeding what he knows to reporters at The Washington Post, meeting in shadows, betting his pension and his marriage on it. Diane Lane plays his wife, holding a fracturing home together; Josh Lucas and Tony Goldwyn circle as colleagues he can't read.
Director Peter Landesman keeps the focus tight on the man, not the burglary, and on the cost of going against the institution you serve. Felt's identity stayed secret until he came forward in 2005. This one rewards patience, fans of quiet, talky thrillers built on phone calls and loyalty rather than gunfire. Stream Mark Felt online on iFILM.
