Synopsis

Parkland (2013) is a historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Peter Landesman reconstructed the hours surrounding the shooting of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd, 1963 — tracking a handful of ordinary people swept into history without warning.

A young Parkland Memorial Hospital surgeon played by Zac Efron is the first to work on the president's wounds, uncertain at first who is on the table. Secret Service agent Forrest Sorrels (Billy Bob Thornton) scrambles to secure evidence. Amateur cameraman Abraham Zapruder (Paul Giamatti) realizes his home-movie footage has just become the most important film in American history. And Robert Oswald (James Badge Dale), Lee Harvey Oswald's brother, watches his family name become synonymous with the killing. None of them chose to be there. All of them carry it for life.

Based on Vincent Bugliosi's book "Four Days in November," the film draws on eyewitness accounts and declassified records rather than conspiracy theories. The ensemble also includes Marcia Gay Harden, Ron Livingston, Colin Hanks, Tom Welling, and Jackie Earle Haley. Watch Parkland (2013) online on iFILM.
