Synopsis

Wally (Wallace Shawn) is a struggling playwright who shows up reluctantly, dreading the evening. Across from him sits Andre (Andre Gregory), once a celebrated experimental theater director who walked away from it all to chase meaning across Poland, the Sahara and stranger places still. Andre pours out his travels; Wally pushes back, arguing that an electric blanket and a good cup of coffee beat any search for cosmic truth. That tug-of-war is the movie.
There is no plot in the usual sense, just two worldviews wrestling over fear, habit, comfort and what it means to actually be awake. It earned its cult status by daring to hold an audience with nothing but talk and two faces. For viewers willing to listen rather than wait for a chase.
