Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018) is an animated Star Wars series you can watch online on iFILM. It runs in the gap between Episodes III and IV, when the Galactic Empire has the galaxy by the throat and the very first sparks of rebellion are only beginning to catch.

The story follows the mismatched crew of the freighter Ghost. Ezra Bridger, a street kid from the planet Lothal, is pickpocketing Imperials until he crosses paths with Kanan Jarrus, a Jedi survivor who takes him on as a Padawan. Around them: Twi'lek pilot Hera, Mandalorian artist and demolitions expert Sabine, the Lasat heavy Zeb, and the cranky astromech Chopper. What begins as small sabotage runs grows into the seed of the Rebel Alliance, with a menacing Imperial Inquisitor hunting them every step.

Created by Dave Filoni — George Lucas's protégé and the mind behind The Clone Wars — the four seasons stitch the animated corner of the saga into the wider canon and bring back Ahsoka Tano and Grand Admiral Thrawn.
