Synopsis
The Rocker (2008) is a music comedy from director Peter Cattaneo, ready to watch online on iFILM. Drummer Fish gets dumped by his band moments before they hit it big, and he spends the next twenty years stewing over it.
His second shot arrives from the unlikeliest place: his nephew's high-school rock band needs a drummer. A grown man crashing a teen garage act, Fish throws himself back onto the stage and nearly sinks the group with his ego before they ever play a gig. Rainn Wilson carries the whole thing, backed by an early-career Emma Stone, Teddy Geiger, Christina Applegate and Josh Gad, with Bradley Cooper and Jason Sudeikis popping up in bit parts.
