Life as a House (2001) is Irwin Winkler's family drama, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Sam (Hayden Christensen) is sixteen, sullen, dyeing his hair black and lost to drugs; he and George have been strangers for a decade. Kevin Kline plays a man with just enough time left to become the father he never managed to be. The construction site turns into the one place they can talk, and slowly it draws in George's ex-wife (Kristin Scott Thomas) and the neighbors too.
