Synopsis
Like Father (2018) is a comedy-drama from writer-director Lauren Miller Rogen that you can watch online on iFILM. Workaholic executive Rachel gets left at the altar, then boards her honeymoon cruise with the one person she never planned to bring along: the father she barely knows.
Rachel (Kristen Bell) hasn't spoken to her dad since she was five. Harry (Kelsey Grammer) is just as married to his job as she is, and the years of silence sit heavy between them. Stuck on a Caribbean ship surrounded by newlyweds, they trade barbed jokes, too many umbrella cocktails, and slowly start telling each other the truth. Seth Rogen turns up as a fellow passenger who keeps crossing Rachel's path.
This was Rogen's feature debut behind the camera, and it leans entirely on the chemistry between Bell and Grammer — two stubborn people learning to actually listen.
