Marnie and her younger siblings sneak after their grandmother through a magic portal, and an ordinary girl who has barely discovered her powers turns out to be the one who has to push back the evil before midnight.

Debbie Reynolds plays Grandma Aggie, and her warmth is what holds the whole thing together.
