Casper

Casper (1995) is a family fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Brad Silberling and produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman star in this 100-minute film. Inside Whipstaff Manor, a crumbling estate on the Maine coast, lives a young ghost who would rather make friends than rattle chains. His name is Casper, and his three obnoxious ghost uncles — Stretch, Stinkie, and Fatso — are the only company he has ever had.

Greedy heiress Carrigan (Cathy Moriarty) inherits the manor along with a rumour of buried treasure, and hires Dr. James Harvey (Bill Pullman), a ghost therapist, to clear the place out. Harvey arrives with his teenage daughter Kat (Christina Ricci), who is the first person to actually stop and talk to Casper. Eric Idle plays Dibs, Carrigan's scheming accomplice. Malachi Pearson provided Casper's voice, while Devon Sawa plays the ghost in a brief but memorable live-action moment.

Released in May 1995, the film earned nearly $288 million worldwide on a $50 million budget and introduced a generation to the Harvey Comics ghost who first appeared in print back in 1945.
