Synopsis

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993) is a Disney family adventure you can watch online on iFILM. When their owners head off on vacation, three pets are dropped at a friend's ranch hundreds of miles from home.

Then they decide they've been abandoned. So they leave. Chance, a young American bulldog who treats danger like a game, follows the lead of Shadow, a wise old golden retriever, while Sassy the cat complains about every river they cross. Together they push through the California wilderness, facing bears, rapids and a long climb back to the people they love. Michael J. Fox, Don Ameche and Sally Field voice the trio, and those voices turn three animals into three distinct, stubborn personalities.

Director Duwayne Dunham reworked Disney's 1963 original, this time letting the pets narrate their own trek. The peril is real but the tone stays warm, which is why it lands for kids and parents alike. Fair warning: the ending earns its tears honestly. Stream Homeward Bound (1993) online on iFILM.
