Synopsis

Saving Silverman (2001) is a Dennis Dugan comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Three lifelong pals front a Neil Diamond tribute band, right up until a scheming knockout sets her sights on one of them.

Darren Silverman (Jason Biggs) falls hard for Judith, an ice-cold therapist played with bossy glee by Amanda Peet, who promptly cuts him off from his friends and the band. J.D. (Jack Black) and Wayne (Steve Zahn) decide the only fix is the dumbest one possible: kidnap the bride-to-be and quietly reunite Darren with Sandy, his high-school sweetheart who is about to become a nun. The plan is idiotic, the execution worse, and even a hard-nosed ex-coach (R. Lee Ermey) gets dragged into the mess. Neil Diamond himself turns up as Neil Diamond.

This is loud, crude buddy farce built almost entirely on the chemistry of its Black-Zahn-Biggs trio and a total lack of brakes. It's for people who like their friend comedies goofy and shameless. Stream Saving Silverman (2001) online on iFILM.
