Synopsis
Beverly Hills Ninja (1997) is a slapstick action comedy with Chris Farley that you can watch online on iFILM. An American baby washes ashore in Japan, and a ninja clan mistakes him for the legendary White Ninja of ancient prophecy.
Raised to be a warrior, Haru grows up clumsy, huge and hopeless, the clear embarrassment of his dojo. He flunks every martial-arts test his brothers ace. Still, when a glamorous blonde named Sally walks in begging for help, Haru is the one who takes the case, bumbling his way to Beverly Hills and straight into a counterfeiting plot run by real killers. Every fight collapses into pratfalls, yet he keeps charging back in. Chris Rock pops up in a small role too.
The film was directed by Dennis Dugan, a regular behind Adam Sandler's comedies. It's pure farce built on Farley's physical gift and the goofy charm of a giant who believes in himself against all odds. Fans of 1990s Saturday Night Live will know exactly what they're getting.
