Barnyard

Barnyard (2006) is a family animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Writer-director Steve Oedekerk built a farm where, the moment people look away, the animals stand on two legs, talk, and throw wild parties.

Otis the cow lives for pranks and goofing off, and happily dumps the boring job of guarding the yard at night onto everyone else. His adoptive father Ben, the gray-muzzled leader of the herd, keeps preaching responsibility, but Otis would rather chase music, friends and a pretty new arrival named Daisy. Then one night Dag the coyote comes for the chicken coop, and the carefree cow is forced to grow up fast and take charge of the place.

This was the first feature from O Entertainment and Nickelodeon Movies, and it later spun off into the TV series Back at the Barnyard. The voice cast includes Kevin James, Courteney Cox, Sam Elliott and Danny Glover. Ninety minutes of loud, deliberately silly humor, best for younger viewers and anyone who can shrug off the fact that the male cows here somehow have udders. Stream Barnyard (2006) online on iFILM.
