Synopsis

Mrs. Tweedy's farm has a strict policy: hens lay eggs until they don't, then they go into a pie. Ginger, voiced by Julia Sawalha, has tunnelled, disguised, and bribed her way to the fence more times than anyone can count. Then Rocky — a cocky American rooster played by Mel Gibson — crash-lands into the coop and claims he can fly. The whole flock decides to believe him, whether it's true or not. Miranda Richardson voices the ice-cold Mrs. Tweedy with genuine menace.
