Synopsis
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) is a comedy from Morgan Creek Entertainment — watch it online on iFILM. Jim Carrey is back as the world's least conventional pet detective: after dropping a raccoon off a Himalayan cliff and spending months in a Tibetan monastery trying to forget about it, Ace gets pulled back into the field by a case that involves the one animal he genuinely cannot stand.
British consular official Greenwall (Ian McNeice) needs Ace to track down Shikaka, a sacred white bat stolen from the Wachati tribe of fictional Nibia. Without the bat returned before the Wachati princess marries the rival Wachootoo prince, a full tribal war breaks out. The trail leads to a big-game hunter named Cadby (Simon Callow) and through encounters that include mountain gorillas, a rhino costume, and a great deal of improvised diplomacy. Sophie Okonedo appears as the princess; Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje plays the warrior Hitu.
Directed by Steve Oedekerk, the film runs 90 minutes and earned over $212 million worldwide against a $30 million budget — more than double what the first Ace Ventura made. Stream Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) online on iFILM.
