Babe decides he wants to herd sheep. The farm dogs think it's absurd. The sheep have their own opinions. But Farmer Hoggett sees something in the little animal and enters him in a sheepdog trial. Based on Dick King-Smith's novel The Sheep-Pig, the film used real trained animals alongside animatronics — no CGI stand-ins in the key scenes.
