Life in the Hundred Acre Wood moves at its own unhurried pace. Pooh chases honey and wedges himself in Rabbit's doorway, timid Piglet trails close behind, bouncing Tigger flattens everything he touches, and gloomy old Eeyore keeps misplacing his tail. Christopher Robin watches over the whole gang. There is no real villain and no rush — just small, warm troubles and the songs that carry the friends through them.

Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman and John Lounsbery, the film leans on Ernest Shepard's original book drawings, with Sterling Holloway voicing Pooh in that sleepy, instantly familiar drawl.
