Synopsis

Vadym, 25, makes a living selling field recordings: ambient sounds, animal calls, urban noise. The real goal is Canada — save enough money, buy a ticket, leave. When a commission arrives to document rare Carpathian wildlife, including a bird almost no one has captured on tape, he takes the job. The catch: his mother is coming. Irma Vitovska plays her with a comic precision that lands between funny and heartbreaking — sometimes within the same line of dialogue.
