Ezra

Ezra (2024) is an American drama-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Tony Goldwyn follows Max Bernal — played by Bobby Cannavale — a stand-up comedian living with his father Stan (Robert De Niro), co-parenting his autistic son Ezra with his ex-wife Lena (Rose Byrne) and losing ground fast.

When the school and everyone around him push Max to make decisions about Ezra's future that he can't accept, he does the only thing he knows: he hits the road with his kid. A cross-country trip that neither of them planned. Whoopi Goldberg and Vera Farmiga round out the ensemble. Goldwyn keeps the film honest — Ezra's autism is neither a tragedy to overcome nor a quirky gift to celebrate, just a fact of this particular family's life. That restraint is what makes it worth watching.
