Freddie (Cameron Diaz) didn't marry Sam for love — she was handed over to settle an old debt to a club owner. At the reception she and Jjaks decide to run off together with a wad of someone else's cash, setting off a mess nobody can rein in. Vincent D'Onofrio plays the dim, jealous brother, Delroy Lindo and Dan Aykroyd pile on the criminal absurdity, and Courtney Love turns up at the edges.
