Synopsis
Trainspotting (1996) — watch online Danny Boyle's raw British drama based on Irvine Welsh's novel of the same name. Ewan McGregor plays Mark Renton, a young heroin addict in Edinburgh who decides to clean up — then gets dragged back in. Shot for under four million pounds, it grossed over $70 million worldwide.
Renton's circle is a liability in every direction. Spud stumbles through job interviews and courtrooms, Sick Boy operates on pure cynicism, and Begbie starts fights the way other people start conversations. Kelly Macdonald appears as Diane, and Welsh himself shows up in a small role as dealer Mikey Forrester. The film runs 94 minutes and doesn't waste a single one.
The soundtrack — Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life," Underworld's "Born Slippy" — became the sound of a decade. Watch Trainspotting (1996) online on iFILM.
