Synopsis
101 Dalmatians (1996) is a Walt Disney Pictures family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Stephen Herek brought Dodie Smith's 1956 novel — and Disney's beloved 1961 cartoon — to life with a real cast, real dogs, and one gloriously unhinged villain.
London programmer Roger (Jeff Daniels) and fashion artist Anita (Joely Richardson) are perfectly content until their dalmatians produce a litter of fifteen puppies. Cruella de Vil (Glenn Close) has already done the arithmetic: she needs exactly 101 spotted coats for the fur coat of her dreams. She sends her hapless henchmen Jasper (Hugh Laurie) and Horace (Mark Williams) to steal every last puppy. What follows is part heist, part chase, and part very messy comeuppance.
Glenn Close turned Cruella into a force of nature — all cigarette holder, shrieking fits and razor-sharp cheekbones — and the film pulled in over $320 million at the worldwide box office. Great for kids, watchable for adults. Stream 101 Dalmatians (1996) on iFILM.
